Africa Football Union –WAFU- defending champions; Gambia U-20 national team is
eyeing to seal their first victory in the 2019 sub-regional Zone A U-20
football tournament as they prepare to clash with Liberia in their second group
B match today, in Guinea Conakry.
The
young Scorpions drew 1-1 with Mali in their opening game, on Monday. They are
required to grab maximum points against the Liberians today, to increase their
chances of sailing to the semifinal and to maintain their hopes of retaining
their crown.
