The
Super Nawettan Organising Committee (SNOC) has levied D30, 000 fine on Brufut
after their fans threw stones on match officials following their 2-0 defeat to
Kombo East in their quarterfinal game of the 2019 Africell-sponsored super
nawettan tournament match that was played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in
Brikama, on Saturday.
The
Sennementereng fans threw stones on match officials after player Adama Saidy
was sent off for kicking the match ball.
The
Committee urged Brufut to settle their fine before next year’s super Nawettan,
failure of which they will be expelled from the country’s annual community
football showpiece.
Meanwhile,
the Committee also banned player Adama Saidy for four matches after kicking the
match ball during their quarterfinal game against Kombo East.
