Gambia player Kristian Brix makes name in Norway

Nineteen-old-half Gambia footballer Kristian Brix who plays with Norwegian Premier League side Vålerenga IF is a player with a bright future.

Brix was the first-ever player born in the 1990's to appear in Vålerenga's first team and has featured in both domestic and UEFA Cup competition, scoring in Europe against Lithuanian side Ekranas in August 2007.

The same year, he played four League games for the 16 team Norwegian Tippeligaen league.

In 2008 season, Brix spent the first half of the season on loan at Sagndal, a lower league outfit currently at the Nowegian Adeccoligaen league where he made three appearances.

Born 12 June 1990, the 20-year-old left back and winger, who plays for Vålerenga IF along side Gambian compatriot Dawda Leigh make four appearances for the Norwegian U-17 team scoring a single goal.

The Valeranga IF versatile Gambian forward who wears jersey number 31 is 1.75m and will turn twenty next June.
