A Brikama resident was recently arraigned before the Brikama Magistrates' Court for allegedly being in possession of forged bank notes and wearing military gears without authority.
Kawsu Jabbi pleaded "not guilty" before Magistrate Amadi to both charges.
Count one stated that Kawsu Jabbi, on 15th January 2010, at the Brikama Market was found in possession of 77 notes of 100 US Dollar denominations.
Count two stated that on the same day, while not in the service of the Gambia Armed Forces or any other foreign force, he was found wearing a military uniform without authority.
He was granted a court bail in the sum of D20, 000.
The case was adjourned to 28th January 2010 for hearing.
