Gambia play Morocco in Fifa 2014 World Cup qualifier in June

The Normalisation Committee of the Gambia Football Association, in conjunction with Gambia For Gold, wishes to inform the general public that the Scorpions of The Gambia will play the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifier on Saturday 2 June 2012 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4:30pm.

This will be Gambia’s opening account in the FIFA 2014 World Cup qualifying Round against Morocco.

The general public is hereby urged to turn up in great numbers to boost the morale of the Scorpions in their quest to qualify the Gambia for the first time to a FIFA World Cup.

According to GFA media officer Bakary B. Baldeh, the general public is further informed that tickets for the scheduled match can be bought at all ELTON Petrol stations and Trust Bank branches and that no ticket will be sold at the stadium gates on the day of the match. Ticket prizes are therefore pegged as follows:

VIP D500, Covered Pavilion D100, Uncovered Pavilion D50, Scoreboard Pavilion D25 and Opposite Scoreboard D25.

The GFA Normalisation Committee finally assures the general public of its strive to support the Scorpions all the way in their FIFA qualifying series.
