It is with great sadness and sorrow for the Executive Committee, Technical Team, players and Fans club of Steve Biko FC that we learnt the demise of our former Senegalese coach Jules Bocande which happened on Monday 7th May 2012.
Bocande was the head coach of Steve Biko FC in 1999/2000 football season and won FTI cup for the club before his return to Senegal to join the technical team of the Senegalese National Team.
He enjoyed working for Steve Biko FC because of the entertainment he received from his players like Abdoulie Bojang (head Coach of Steve Biko FC), Samuel Kargbo, Assan Jatta, Lamin Dugal Jammeh (Coach Interior FC), Kebba Bojang (Rush Youth Coach), Kausu Jammeh and his assistant Badou Saidy currently with GFA as regional coach.
The entire Steve Biko FC family and in the personal names of Lamin Tonji Sanyang, Sosseh Koli, Ousman Rambo A. Jatta and Kalifa Jammeh hereby present to you, the Senegalese Football Family, friends of Bocande in Gambia and Senegal and Bocande’s Family our most open condolences.
May his soul rest in peace and give staying power and might to his family.
