The Gambia National Deaf team is looking set to play host to their Sierra Leonean counterparts in an international-friendly match, to be played at Brikama Box Bar-Mini-stadium, slated for Saturday, 20th February 2010.
The Sierra Leone National Deaf team, according to the reports gathered by Pointsport are due to arrive in Banjul on Wednesday 17th February 2010, to rub shoulders with their counterparts from the Gambia Deaf Sports Association, fondly called Deaf Scorpions in a soccer friendly international match, aimed at strengthening the existing bilateral relationship between the two sides.
The friendly match which promises to produce a mouth-watering encounter between the two sides Pointsport was informed will be the first-ever match in the history of our beloved country The Gambia.
