Gambia Fire and Ambulance Services Donates Blood to RVTH

Touched by the plight of those usually in need of blood, the Banjul and Serekunda branches of the Fire and Rescue Services recently donated 26 units of blood to the Blood Transmission Services at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Banjul.

Speaking at the occasion, Alhaji Ebou  .G. Sarr, Blood Donor Recruitment Officer at the RVTH, said blood donation is very important, noting that the blood one may donate can save lives.

He called on individuals and other institutions to donate blood to the blood bank of the RVTH, adding that anybody who wants to donate could come to the hospital to do so.
