The
Gambia have intensified preparations for their crunch 2017 Africa Cup of
Nations qualifiers away to Cameroon next month in Yaoundé.
The
Scorpions under the guidance of coach Sang Ndong are currently training with
the local-based players, who will be joined by the foreign-based players for
the clash against the Indomitable Lions.
The
Gambia are already out of the 2017 Africa Cup Nations after grabbing only 2
points in five games and will be playing for revenge in order to improve their
ranking after losing to Cameroon 1-0 in the first leg in Banjul in September
2015.
Cameroon
are through to the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations after snatching 11 points in five
games and will be playing for pride following their qualification to the
bi-annual continental biggest football fiesta.
