The senior national team of The Gambia, the Scorpions, has dropped three places globally from 131 to 134 but maintained its continental standing of 40 in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola ranking released yesterday, Thursday 8 May 2014.
The Scorpions, who are suspended from CAF Competitions for two years, have not kicked a ball since beating Tanzania last October in the final World Cup qualifying game played in Banjul.
