The
defending champions of the national beach volleyball championship on Sunday 30
July 2017 defeated Interior by 2 sets to nil to defend their crown.
The
Gambia Armed Forces Female beach volleyball team (commonly GAF) beat their
security counterparts in the second edition of the championship, organised by
the Gambia Volleyball Federation, by 21-12 and 21- 18 at Pocoloco beach.
The
defeat dashed Interior’s hopes of lifting the trophy for the first time in its
history.
The
final wrapped up the second edition of beach volleyball national championship.
