The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court presided over by Magistrate Dawda Jallow on 27 August 2012 set today to deliver judgement in the criminal case involving Alasana Krubally and Sarja Fatty.
The duo is standing trial on charges of stealing by clerk or servant, a charge they denied.
When the case resumed, the prosecuting officer, Colley, applied to the court to adjourn the case for judgement, noting that the first accused, Alasana Krubally, was not in court.
The trial magistrate then adjourned the case till today for judgment.
According to the particulars of offence, the accused persons, between January and April 2011, being employees of Honest Company Ltd as sale manager and sales recorder, jointly fraudulently converted D341, 800 into their use, being proceeds of 114 white and desktops, 91 LCD’S flat screen computers.
