Lamin Jassey, a former Administrative secretary at the Gambia Football Association (GFA), on Monday graduated with a BA honours in Public Sociology at the Birmingham City University.

Jassey, who comes from Pakalinding in Jarra West, completed the three-year degree programme, sources close to the Gambian society in UK revealed.

Contacted for comments on his achievement, Jassey reluctantly said: “There is no news in that Lamin, as it is an everyday occurrence but if you insist, I would say yes. I thank Allah for fulfilling that ambition of mine. But life is a never ending journey towards self fulfillment so I am naturally gunning for further challenges.’’

Lamin Jassey served as one-time administrative secretary at the Football House and was widely praised for his proactiveness and good public relations skills. He now lives in the UK with his family.
