The current GFA division one league leaders Interior needed another three vital points to be confirmed the champions of the female 1st division league championship when they take on fellow contenders Company Ten at the Sea View Football Field on Sunday.
Interior who collected 22 points in nine games are closer to another historic moment as they are chasing another league title. They are closely followed by Company Ten, who are currently occupying the 2nd spot on 19 points, three adrift of leaders whom they will meet in their last game.
A win for Company Ten will see them level on points each which will also dash Interior's hope of another league title to their disposal.
Red Scorpions who are securing third spot on 17 points, will face Kinteh's United in the last game of week ten fixtures on Sunday, while fourth place Abuko United who collected 14 points would also be involved in a titanic encounter when they lock horns with relegation thrown Makasutu, who are lying at the bottom of the 6 club league on 3 points.
They are holding the same points with fellow strugglers, Kinteh who have a better goal advantage that them.
In a similar development, Armed Forces were crowned champions of the female second division league championship, following their emphatic 4-0 win over second place Jamcity as the race for the second division female league title draws to conclusion with only one match to go. They collected 18 points and 6 points clear on top of Jamcity who are on 11 points.
The City Girls are in the third position at 9 points, while Future Bi who are still in fourth position collected 7 points. Jeshwang United who are certainly relegated to the third division collected 3 points with only 1 game left to complete the divisiontwo champions which will be played this weekend.
