FIFA extends appreciation to Seedy MB Kinteh

The world football governing body FIFA has sent words of appreciation to Seedy M.B. Kinteh, former president of the Gambia Football Association, for his contribution to the body during his tenure as a member of a FIFA standing committee.

The message of appreciation was addressed in a letter signed by FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke dated 21 August 2012, and accompanied with a Fifa pennant or banner from Fifa President Sepp Blatter.

The following is the verbatim version of the FIFA letter to Kinteh:

Dear Mr Kinteh,

With this letter, the FIFA President would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for all the work that you have accomplished as a member of a FIFA standing committee.

As a sign of our appreciation, please accept this pennant as a piece of memorabilia.

Thanks to committed and loyal people such as you, we have been able to continue to progress and develop our beautiful game.

We wish you every success for the future on both a professional and a private level.
