Farato Nawetan round up

Babylon United FC beat Real Barcelona FC 2-1in a mouth-watering clash to snatch their victory in the ongoing Farato Nawetan championship at the Farato community playground at the weekend.

Babylon United’s goals were registered by Mbemba Tunkara and former Gambia U-17 and Bakau United winger Jatta Baldeh in the 57th and 86th minutes of the game respectively, which dashed Real Barcelona’s hopes of coming back to their feet.

Real Barcelona fought back for an equalizer and created series of goal-scoring chances and pulled back one in the dying minute of the game, but that proved to be a consolation goal as they suffered yet another defeat in the ongoing Farato Nawetan championship.

On Sunday, Jattas Football Club defeated New-Site FC 1-0 in a tightly contested game played at the Farato playground.  Ousman Jabang`s 55th minute goal proved to be the winner for Jattas Football Club to snatch the maximum points at the expense of New-Site FC.

New-Site fought back for an equalizer and created several goal-scoring opportunities in front of Jattas’s goal mouth but they squandered all their limited opportunities, thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Jattas FC.
