In his testimony, police prosecutor Foday Saidykhan told the court on 17thDecember 2007, he was on duty at the Serekunda Police Station when the accused was brought together with the fake Gambian currency. He added that he cautioned the accused before obtaining his cautionary statement.
According to him, when the accused was confronted he told the police that he wanted to pay for his alien registration.
