The case involving ex-police chief Ensa Badjie, and two other senior military officers, Lt. Col Mam Matarr Secka, former transport commander of the Gambia armed forces, and Major Kuluteh Manneh, former commander of the military police unit at Yundum Camp, was recently adjourned at the Special Criminal Court in Banjul.
It was adjourned on the grounds that the trial judge, Justice Emmanuel Nkea, was reported to be indisposed and, as a result, he could not hear the case.
The case was then adjourned till 24 October 2012.
