Report monitored over GRTS has stated that President Jammeh has relieved Mr. Ousman Jammeh, the Minister of Energy of his cabinet appointment with effect from Monday 28th June 2010.

Mr. Jammeh, who replaced Mrs. Sira Wally-Ndow Njie as Energy Minister on June 7th, was Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Relations and Gambians Abroad before his deployment to the Ministry of Energy.

The reports indicated that the portfolio of the ministry has now been transferred to the Office of the President.
