Principal Magistrate Kayode of the Bundung Magistrates Court recently convicted and sentenced one Ida Drammeh, a resident of Ebo-Town to pay a court fine of D4000 in default to serve six months imprisonment after she was found guilty for assault causing actual bodily harm.
She was also ordered to pay a compensation of D3000 to the complainant in default to serve another three months in prison.
According to the charge sheet, the convict on the 26th June 2009, at Ebo-Town assaulted one Therese Sambou by cutting her face and her neck with a razor blade thereby causing her actual bodily harm.
Police prosecutor 2857 Bah represented the IGP.
