The criminal trial of theft involving, Salifu Gaye and Lamin Sanneh continued recently at the Bundung Magistrates' Court with the testimony of the second prosecution witness, one Seedy Jarju.
Testifying before Magistrate George, Mr. Jarju told the count that, on 27th December, 2009 he was sleeping when he heard his friend, one Kalilou Jammeh repeatedly shouting thief.
According to him, they chased the accused persons who were armed with a pair of scissors and threatened to wound anyone who touches them.
He stated that it's there that he sacrificed and attack the first accused and confiscated his pair of scissors as his friend Kalilou also got grip of the second accused. Subsequently, he said both of them were taken to Old Yundun Police Station.
