Duo arraigned for multiple offences

Muhammed Camara and Oumie Jatta were recently arraigned before Magistrate Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court charged with three counts of conspiracy to defraud, stealing and making or having possession of papers or implement for forgery.

According to the charge sheet on count one, on 24th August 2010 at Bakoteh village in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused persons stole 8000 dollars from one Ebrima Bah.

Count two stated that on 24th August 2010, at Bakoteh village in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused persons jointly and unlawfully stole 8000 Dollars, being the property of one Ebrima Bah.

Count three stated that the accused persons had in their possession of bundle of black papers cut into the size of currency notes.

Both denied the charges before the case was adjourned to 28th September 2010 for continuation.
