Dr. Njogou Bah back as SG

Dr. Njogou L. Bah the Minister of Works, Construction and Infrastructure has been reappointed as the Secretary-General and Head of the Civil Service, with effect from Thursday, 3rd June 2010, a media release from the Office of President relayed over GRTS stated. He replaces Ms. Mariama Khan who has now been appointed as the Permanent Secretary at the Personnel Management Office (PMO).

Dr. Njogu Bah served as Permanent Secretary at the Office of the President, Secretary to the Cabinet, and then Secretary-General and Head of the Civil Service from 8th January to 17th March 2010, when he was appointed as Deputy Minister of Works, Construction and Infrastructure, a post in which he served for only two days.

He was appointed Minister of Trade and Employment from 19th March to 24th March 2010, when he was appointed Minister of Works, Construction and Infrastructure.

Ms. Mariama Khan had served as acting Director of the Policy Analysis Unit at the Office of the President before her appointment as Secretary-General.
