Disobedience and criminal trespass case proceeds

The case involving Papa Malang Bojang and Bakary Jumbi Bojang, who were charged with disobedience to lawful order and criminal trespass continued recently at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.

Continuing his defence, the first accused, Papa Malang Bojang, told the court that Sanyang Village was founded by his grandparents and that the village was founded before the war of Kombo Sillah.

Bojang said it was Sanyang Village that gave the power to Sansanding Village to settle, adding that the piece of land was owned by Karing kunda Kabilo of Sanyang.

The case was at this point adjourned till 16 April 2012.
