Amadou Sowe, a Gambian language tutor and teacher,
has authored a book entitled: “Demngal Pulaar” (The Fula Grammar), and it will
be launched today 1 June 2016 at the National Museum premises in Banjul at 10
a.m.
According to Mr Sowe, the book attempts to explain grammar, syntax and structure of the Fula language as it is spoken in The Gambia.
He added that he intends to promote the use of Gambian languages by Gambians by exploring the finer points of the Fula language.
Amidou Jah of Jah Oil Company Limited is the invited chief launcher of the book, and general public is invited to attend the event.
