The Special Criminal Court on 8 November 2011 issued a witness summons on two medical doctors from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital to come and give evidence in the case involving two former NDEA officers.
Dr Modou Jabang and Dr Tamayo were summoned, following an application made by the prosecution.
The case was then adjourned till 18 November 2011.
Ebou Lowe and Eku Grant, both former officers of the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA), were charged with murder, after they allegedly beat one Alieu Cherno Suwareh in Bakau, leading to his hospitalization and death, for being suspected of possessing cannabis sativa.
