According to a press release, the Judicial Service Commission has with effect from 18th June 2009 approved the following promotions and staff movements in the Judiciary.
Three Magistrates have been promoted to Principal Magistrates: Senior Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara, Senior Magistrate Basiru VP Mahoney and Magistrate Class I Kayode Olajabutu.
Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay is promoted to the position of Senior Magistrate, while Registrar Mariama Ceesay-Mboob promoted to Senior Registrar, High Court and Magistrate Pa Harry Jarnmeh deployed to Sheriff Division as Sheriff of the High Court
