The
case involving one Biran Jallow, charged with stealing a gas bottle, continued
recently at the Bundung Magistrates’ Court with the testimony of the first
prosecution witness.
Bolong Bojang testified as first prosecution witness telling the court that his gas bottle was snatched from his house while he was sleeping in the afternoon.
He said he was later woken up by the noise of the people who were shouting saying: “We caught a thief”, and on their way to the police, he saw his gas and recognised it.
The witness adduced that they escorted the accused to the police station where he gave a statement to the police.
The case continues.
