Case of criminal trespass, willful damage to property heard

A case of criminal trespass and willful damage to property involving one Billo Tambedou was yesterday heard at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court before Magistrate F.L. Drammeh.

Tambedou denied the charges and was subsequently granted court bail of D5,000 with a Gambian surety with a national ID card.

According to the charge sheet on count one, the accused on 19 May 2011, at Bakau Kachically, intimidated one Muhammed Dumbuya by entering into his premises wit intent to commit an offence.

Count two read that the accused on the same place and date damaged a door glass valued at D4,000, the property of the said Muhammed Dumbuya.

The case continues today.
