Ahead of African Junior Athletics Championship
The Confederation of African Athletics have nominated Mr Dodou Joof alias Capi, the Secretary-General of the Gambia Athletic Association (GAA) as the technical delegate of the African Junior Athletic championship, to be held in
Speaking in an interview with Pointsport yesterday, Mr Joof said the event will be held from 1- 4 August 2009, noting that all the African countries would be represented in the championship.
He stated that prior to the competition, the Confederation of African Athletic will convene a council meeting in
Mr Joof pointed out that among his responsibilities as a technical delegate for the continental championship would be to make sure that all the necessary arrangements for the competition is in place, ranging from accommodation, transportation, complaints, among others.
Mr Dodou Joof alias (Capi) is also expected to attend the CAA Council meeting in July.
