Armed Forces Are New Leaders in 2nd Division Female League

Armed Forces has mauled bottom place Jeshwang United five-nil, in a game that appeared unevenly contested to ease pass Jam City on top of Female Second Division league standing.

 The engaging-match showcases the round up of first round games of 2008\09 GFA's second division female league championship, played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau last Sunday.

The win was Armed Force's second in two consecutive games.

The new leaders earlier in their week four fixtures, defeated second from bottom place Future -BI by 3-nil to go on top of the female second division league on 9 points. They shared the same points with second place Jam City who spent greater part of the first round on top of the table but separated by goal difference.

City Girls, who collected 7 points from 5 games, are occupying the third spot while Future BI and Jeshwang United are rooted at the bottom of the table with 1 and 2 points, respectively.
