Hundreds
of Muslims across Central River Region last Friday attended the inauguration of
a new community Mosque in Bush Town, in the region’s Sami District, sponsored
by Oustass Ebrima Jarju and his partners.
Alkali
of the village Lamin Kanyi, Imam Yahya Ceesay, Sheikh Oustass Ebrima Sawaneh
and Burang Ceesay, all thanked the sponsor for providing them a conducive
Mosque where Muslims can comfortably worship Allah.
Religious
leaders appealed to the people of the community to be one family and help one
another in the promotion of the Islamic religion. They also prayed for the
sponsors and prayed for peace, prosperity and progress in the country.
