One Ebrima Jallow, a resident of Sinchu Alhagie, was on 29th August 2010 convicted and sentenced to a fine of D300 in default to serve one month in prison.
Mr. Jallow was also ordered to pay a compensation of D200 to the complainant, Sheikh Mbowe.
According to the charge sheet, on 13th August 2010 at Sinchu Alhagie, the convict broke into the house of one Sheik Mbowe.
He pleaded guilty to the charge, and was subsequently convicted and sentenced accordingly.
In a separate development, Muhammed Kulubally and Gergara Njie were on 25th August 2020 convicted by the Bundung Magistrates Court presided over by Magistrate Mbacke.
Muhammed Kulubally who was charged with being in possession of firearm without a license at Yonna village was sentenced to a fine of D500 in default to serve one month in prison.
Gergara Njie was sentenced to a fine of D150 in default to serve one month in prison for the offence of reckless and negligent act causing harm.
