Brufut Utd bid for vengeance against Interior to top GFF 2nd Tier

Brufut United are bidding for payback against Interior in their week-fifteen fixture today 24 March 2016, at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium to top the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation’s second division league.

The Brufut-based outfit are occupying second spot in the second tier, and will be targeting to recover in contention for promotion to the top flight next season after losing to Interior 1-0 in the first round.

The Police outfit are among the teams competing for promotion to the top next season and will hunt to beat Brufut United to increase their hopes of regaining promotion to the top flight next season following their demotion to the second division after their woeful performance in the top flight last season.

Marimoo will welcome Young Africans at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.

The Manjai-based outfit are topping the league and will be playing hard to beat Young Africans to revive their lead in the second tier.

The Banjul-based outfit are struggling in the second division, and will be aggressive to defeat Marimoo to improve their position in the league standings.

Elsewhere, BK Milan will rub shoulders with Bakau United in the all-Bakau derby clash at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Both sides will be expecting to beat each other to snatch position in the league and also increase their hopes of gaining promotion to the top flight next season.
