The Gambia are flagging second place from bottom in group M of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a single point in two matches, and will be fighting tooth and nail to beat Mauritania tomorrow to fancy their hopes of qualifying for the continent’s biggest football gala for the first time in their history since inception of the tournament in 1957.
The other group M fixture will feature South Africa against Cameroon.
