The annual Brufut marathon run competition attracted participants in the country and abroad in the previous years and this year’s competition is expected to future very good athletes to showcase their skills and talents.
The best Gambian female runner will receive an air ticket at the end of the competition donated by SN Brussels Airlines as part of its contribution towards the development of sport in the country.
There are also awards for the best male runner and other outstanding athletes.
The occasion is expected to be graced by the Minister of Youth and Sport, Hon. Sheriff M.L. Gomez and other dignitaries.
