A 22-year-old girl who has been arrested for the alleged murder of her biological brother is currently helping the police in their investigations.
Jatou Sonko, a resident of New Yumdum, it was alleged, last Saturday murdered his brother, Karamo Sonko, aged 28, by stabbing him with a knife in the chest.

PRO Secka said that shortly after the beating, the sister grabbed a knife and stabbed the brother on the left side of his chest.
Karamo was rushed to Brikama Health Centre, where he was clinically pronounced dead.
