Brikama Youth and Sports Committee (BYSC) recently presented certificates to Hon. Lamin Kabba Bajo, Minister of Fisheries, Water Resources and National Assembly Matters, and other stakeholders in the sports fraternity, for their contribution towards the development of sport in Brikama.
The honoured personalities included Essa Sambou, head coach of Brikama United, Baboucarr Bojang, goalkeeper trainer of Brikama United, Lamin Kabou, former head of coach Brikama United; Sulayman Kuyateh, coach of Brikama United Academy; Lamin King Colley, former president of Brikama Youth and Sports Committee; Kodiana Sambou of Brikama United Fans Club; Bakary Manneh, presenter of Brikama Community Radio Station FM B Sports Link; Brother John Mendy of Brikama Community Radio Station FM.B Sports Link; Lamin Kanton; Lamin Camara, Chairman West Coast Region Sports Committee, who also doubles as the chairman Gambia Referee Association; Abdou Karim Sey of West Coast Region Sports Committee; Adama Sey; Captain Cambi; Alpha Jallow, and Lamin Sarr,
According to BYSC’s secretary-general Alagie S. Darboe, Minister Bajo and the other honoured personalities were awarded with the certificates by the BYSC for their tireless contribution towards the development of sport in Brikama.
He thanked Hon. Kabba Bajo and all those who have contributed towards the development of sport in Brikama.
