Kabafita United FC snatched their first victory in the 2011-2012 Brikama Nawettan after defeating Kitty United FC 3-2 in group F on Thursday, African Light FC shared points with Gacem FC in group F after a goalless draw on Friday.
Elsewhere, reigning league and super cup champions Sky Power FC suffered their first defeat in the new Nawettan season, following their 1-0 loss to Daru Youth FC, and they need to win their two remaining matches in order to stand a better chance of reaching the second round of the Nawettan.
