Daru Youths came into the game with zero points, and they need only a victory to keep their hopes of securing a place in the last four of the Nawettan. They lost 3-1 to Sky Power in the opening game a forthnight ago.
Soccer, on the other hand won their opening game, and came into the game with objectives of bagging the maximum points, but were unable to seal a win against determined Daru Youths side that scored a spectacular goal to snatch their first win in the Nawettan.
Soccer responded back for an equalizer, but squandered all their limited goal-scoring opportunities away and thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Daru Youths.
Daru Youths and Soccer are now levelled on points each with 3 points in two outings, with one more game to go before the end of the first round.
