King Colley and co case adjourned for judgment

Justice Emmanuel Nkea of the Special Criminal Court recently adjourned the conspiracy and economic crime case involving Police chief superintendent Lamin King Colley, Ousman Manjang, and Abdou William for judgment.

When the case was called, the trial judge told the accused persons that he was not ready with the judgment.

He then adjourned the case to 8 October 2012, for judgment.

According to the charge Sheet on count one, Lamin King Colley, Ousman Manjang and Abdou William between 2010 and 2011, conspired to cause economic loss to the government of The Gambia.

Count two stated that by means of false declaration of license and road tax, they caused losses to the economy of The Gambia.
