Boy convicted for theft

Magistrate Drammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates' Court recently convicted and sentenced one Alpha Sarr to a fine of D20, 000, in default to serve six months in prison with hard labour upon his own plea of guilty for the offence of theft.

According to the particulars of offence, on 18th May 2010, at Jimpex in the Kanifing Municipality, the convict, Alpha Sarr stole the sum of D30, 635, being the property of one Dheerat Vatnani.
