Bombada sailed to the 2013 Gambia Football Association GFA third triangular qualifiers after beating Black and White of Berending 2-1 in the West Coast Region third qualifiers final played at the Brikama Mini Stadium at the weekend.
Both sides came into the game with the intention of bagging a victory in order to secure a place in the 2013 GFA triangular third division qualifiers but it was Bombada, who were able to snatch a slender win to advance to the triangular qualifier after scoring two brilliant goals in each half to seal a place in the triangular qualifiers.
Black and White of Berending also put up a spectacular performance and created some scoring opportunities but managed to score one goal, which eventually proved be a consolation goal.
The victory has earned Bombada a place in the 2013 GFA triangular qualifiers where they will clash with the two relegated teams from the second division league last season and teams from Banjul and Kanifing Municipality and the two teams with highest number of points will gain promotion to the 2012-2013 GFA second division.
