Bombada out to sting Wallidan to move from red zone in GFF 1st division

Bombada are bidding to beat Wallidan in their re-scheduled week-ten fixtures today 2 March 2016, at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to move away from the relegation zone in the 2015-2016 First-Eco Partners-sponsored Gambia Football Federation domestic division league.

As reigning league champions, Gamtel are hoping to recover on the head of Serrekunda United to stand in contention for the league title after losing to Moroccan premier league side Club Olympique De Khouribga 4-2 on aggregate, which resulted in their exit from the continent’s top tier football competition CAF Champions league at the weekend.

The Brikama-based outfit are occupying bottom place in the top flight with 7 points in ten league matches, and will be fraught to wallop Wallidan and move away from the danger zone and grab good spot in the league in order to avoid relegation to the second division and also stay in the top flight for another season.

The blue boys are among the teams contending for the league title with 13 points in ten league matches, and will be navigating to defeat Bombada and bounce back in contention for the league after losing to Hawks 1-0 in their previous fixtures a fortnight ago.

Elsewhere, Gamtel will rub shoulders with Serrekunda United in the other re-scheduled week-ten fixtures at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium on the same day.

The telecom giants are among the teams competing for the league title with 14 points in ten league matches. They will be working hard to bounce back against Serrekunda United in order to fancy their chances of retaining their 2014-2015 division one league crown.

The Serrekunda-based outfit are struggling second place in the top flight with 8 points in ten league matches and are keen to edge-pass Gamtel to move from the relegation zone.
