After successfully hosting its first outing of the season, Burr Wresting Promotion is gearing up for a mega wresting event slated for 5 and 6 March 2016 at the Wellingara football field.
Twenty wrestlers drawn from different clubs are expected to compete during the two-day event with the big bout or grand combat on Saturday due to take place between France club Saku Hamham of Banjul against Flex club Roots of Pipeline.
Meitre Alhagie Diouf, a renowned international lawyer in Senegal, is named after the flag.
Sunday’s grand combat will see Manduar club Jefjel of Latrikunda taking on Balla Nyamina club Kaibaaxh of Bundung with the flag named after Hon. Abdoulie Bojang, Speaker of the National Assembly.
The other Saturday bouts will future Kojaro club Gumsarew of Serrekunda facing Tangagir of club Police Force. The flag is named after Mr Marcel Mendy, Executive Director of the National Sports Council.
Giri of club Balla Family of Bundung will wrestle with Escuterr of Bakau.
Boy Njie club Kaibaxh will take on Bebe Sahghai club Transport Union.
Boy Jola club Jefjel will face Boy Faal of Brikama. The flag is named after Lamin Kanteh, CEO of Eye Africa TV.
On Sunday other eye-catching and interesting bouts are set to happen after the grand combat between Manduar and Balla Nyamina.
R13 of club Nema will face Halle bu Ndaw of club bulfaleh Kerr Sering in the flag named after Ebou Jantabi band.
Dennu of club Brikama will wrestle with Tonerr of club Kololi in the flag named after CEO of Sahara Real Estate.
Triple less of club Transport Union will face Damarerier of guwsarew Serrekunda.

Ticket prices are pegged at D50 for ordinary, D100 for covered and D200 for VIP.
