Bombada
are challenging to beat the current league champions Gambia Ports Authority
this weekend to move away from relegation zone in the 2016-2017 Gambia Football
Federation domestic division one league after losing their two opening league
fixtures.
The
Brikama-based outfit will host the ferry boys in their week-four fixtures
tomorrow, Saturday 10 December 2016, at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium. They
will strive to beat Gambia Ports Authority to move away from red zone following
their woeful start to the league campaign.
Gambia
Ports Authority are two points behind league leaders Marimoo, and will try to
humble Bombada as well as hope Marimoo slip to Gambia Armed Forces to top the
league and keep their chances of retaining their 2015/16 league crown.
Gambia
Armed Forces will play against league leaders Marimoo at the Serrekunda East
Mini Stadium. The soldiers will make all efforts to beat Marimoo to top the
league.
Marimoo
are currently topping the top flight after winning their two opening league
fixtures. They will contest to defeat Gambia Armed Forces to salvage their lead
in the league summit and also maintain their unbeaten run.
Elsewhere,
Serrekunda United will clash with Real De Banjul at the Serrekunda East Mini
Stadium. The Serrekunda-based outfit will attempt to beat Real De Banjul to
improve their position in the league.
Real
De Banjul are mid-table in the top flight, and will try to knock down
Serrekunda United to increase their hopes of clinching the league title.
On
Sunday 11 December 2016, Tallinding United will meet Bakau giant killers Steve
Biko at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium. Both Tallinding United and Steve Biko
are mid-table in the premier league and will battle to beat each other to land
the vital three points to increase their hopes of winning the league title.
Hawks
will take on Brikama United at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium. The Red Devils will
wrestle to defeat Brikama United to bounce back in the top flight after losing
to Gambia Armed Forces 1-0 in their previous fixtures.
Brikama

Hawks to top the league.
Elsewhere,
Gamtel will play against Samger in the other week-four fixtures at the Brikama
Box Bar Mini Stadium. The telecommunication giants are struggling in the top
flight, and will vie to trounce Samger to recover in the league after losing to
Real De Banjul 2-1 in their previous league.
Samger,
on the other hand, are also struggling in the top flight and will strive to
beat Gamtel to bounce back in the league after losing to league champions
Gambia Ports Authority 3-0 in their previous outing.
