The poor run of form of Bakau giant killers Steve Biko has gone unabated in the 2010-11 Gambia Football Association division one league as they suffered another embarrassing 2-0 defeat to academy boys Samger in the week ten fixtures played at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium on Sunday.

Samger took the lead through striker Buba Jallow in the 30th minute from a penalty spot, before Lamin Sarjo Samateh sealed the victory thanks to his spectacular strike that gave the academy boys a famous victory against the helpless Biko side, whose poor run of form is showing no sign of abating having failed to win in ten league matches.

The team's dismal performance is a serious worrying sign for the Bakau outfit, who nevertheless still have the chance to ameliorate their situation in the second round to come.

Elsewhere, the draw specialists Interior continue to add more draws to their drawing cabinet as they held Africell to yet another goalless draw in a pulsating stalemate result played at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda at the weekend.

Interior, who are without head coach Ebrima Manneh due to a lengthy suspension he is serving, are rooted at the bottom of the table with 5 points in ten matches.

It was yet another disappointing defeat for Bakau United who got off to a flying start to the 12-club league campaign.

Coach Touray and his charges were beaten 2-nil by the reigning GFA division one league champions Gambia Ports Authority in the other week ten fixtures played at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium thanks to a brace from Yafaye Jadama in the 2nd and 79th  minutes.

Samger are 9th position on the league table with 10 points in ten games while Steve Biko are sitting second from bottom on the league table with only 6 points in ten games.

The Gambia Ports Authority are 5th position with 16 points in ten games while Bakau United who set up an early pace with some fine display in the early part of the campaign are 7th position on the league table with 13 points in ten games.
