The Bakau zonal sports committee has unanimously agreed to replay the controversial league final that was marred by a huge violence less than six hours after the game was put to a halt amid high tension.
This follows the central referee Haruna Cham's failure to rule out Assan Jatta' controversial second half goal for what many believe could have been ruled out for out for side-netting with others suggesting it was a clear goal.
In a letter sent to Ron Mango football club few hrs after the disrupted final, the committee’s letter indicates that they have thoroughly looked into the whole fracas and decided that the match be replayed.
The committee further went on to impose a fine of D1000.00 on Mamakoto for their fans behaviour towards the central referee.
Officials of Mamakoto accused the committee and the match officials for been bias while their Saturday’s opponents Ron Mango threaten to withdrawn from the championship.
