The
2016 Bakau Nawettan league has reached the semifinal stage following the
completion of the quarterfinal matches at the Real De Banjul and Seaview
football fields at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at the weekend.
As
part of the semifinal matches, reigning league champions Luneburg will play
against Kansala.
Bantangkoto
will clash with Border in the other semifinal match to complete the semifinal
matches.
Meanwhile,
Vidar were booted out of the 2016 Bakau knockout following their penalty
shootout defeat to Ron Mango, after the regulation time finished stalemate at
the weekend.
Vidar
are now out of the league and knockout competition and will now hang their
boots until next season.
