Dawda Bah’s HJK Helsinki have resumed training ahead of yet another Finish league.
The Finnish champions, who retained the Finnish championship this year after holding it for 2009, held their first joint training exercise on Wednesday after the holidays, according to www.hjk.fi.
The 27-year-old midfielder made 24 appearances for HJK last season netting three times for the champions.
He is so far the most successful Gambian foreign footballer, having won two silverwares with the Finnish outfit since joining the side in 2008, to serve notice to senior national team coach Paul Put, who is yet to give the Gambian star enough playing time in Scorpions’ outings.
During the training session, not all the players turned up to the field. There were instead many young HJK-future stars seen in the winter workouts, which provided a good experience for the league team.
The rehearsal took place in normal warm-up exercises in various techniques led by relaxed HJK’s head coach Antti Muurisen.
